Here’s everything you need to know about Beta Red Pre-Workout Formula in one minute of reading.
Ready, set, start the timer ...
-
Beta Red is a potent blend of nitrate-rich beet juice powder and 3 performance-boosting amino acids: Beta alanine, Citrulline malate, and Betaine.
-
These have been shown to promote increased aerobic and anaerobic efficiency and endurance.
- For best results, drink 1 to 2 servings 90 minutes prior to training and racing. For longer events, consume an additional dose every two hours for maximum effect.
-
While effective at any elevation, Beta Red gives athletes an extra edge when racing and training at higher elevations since it allows them to perform more work with the limited oxygen available.
-
You may feel a light tingling sensation on your skin after drinking Beta Red. While harmless, consuming Beta Red with carbohydrate-rich foods will lessen the effect. Many athletes use this feeling as a psychological cue to get in training or race mode.
-
You may also notice a reddish tint in your pee (known as beeturia) after consuming Beta Red. This is normal and due to the red pigments that give beets their color.
- Beta Red is free of banned substances, as well as artificial flavors, colors, and sweeteners.
- Beta Red does not contain caffeine or other central nervous system stimulants, so it won't make you jittery like other pre-workout products. Since individual tolerance to such stimulants varies widely, we prefer to supplement with it separately, if at all, in the form of a nice cup java to get the health benefits associated with drinking coffee.
