Ingredient Fact Sheet
Adriatic figs: high in potassium and contain as much calcium, fiber and antioxidants as any plant-based food. Also a good source of magnesium, manganese, calcium, copper, vitamin K, and vitamin B6. Figs are dense in phenol antioxidants and nutrients, especially fiber.
Rice flour: High starch content to fuel endurance work, easily digestible, and hypoallergenic.
Raw and unfiltered honey: an ideal carb source during exercise due to being easily digested while having a low glycemic index (it’s slowly converted to blood sugar). Raw honey also contains antioxidants known as phenolic compounds. Locally sourced.
Brown rice syrup: Contains three sugars: Maltotriose, maltose, and glucose. Maltose and maltotriose are multiple glucose molecules bonded together and these glucose molecules are what you want to fuel workouts. We use a moderate GI Brown Rice Syrup to avoid blood-sugar spikes and provide steady energy for high-energy activities
Dried cranberries: Rich in antioxidants, such as flavonoids, catechins, phenolic acids, and proanthocyanidins.
Pea protein: a hypoallergenic source of complete protein. Pea protein is higher in the critical amino acid Leucine than other plant proteins. Leucine is an essential amino acid linked to protein synthesis and recovery that is traditionally low in plant-based
diets.
Virgin coconut oil: high in medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which are harder for the body to convert to stored fat and easier to burn than long-chain triglycerides.
Lemon Juice: high in Vitamin C
