South Park, Colorado is an area most people drive through to reach ritzy ski resorts and other mountain destinations. It's the size of Delaware, yet only has a few paved roads (the 2-lane highways intersecting it). And while I don't have official numbers, I'm fairly certain bison outnumber human residents. It also happens to be a awesome place to ride a gravel bike!
Unless you've been self-isolating without internet access you're undoubtedly aware that practically all cycling, triathlon, and running events have been canceled or postponed for the near future. These events serve as outlets and focal points to many of us.They give us something to built up to and provide opportunities to connect with friends and other like-minded people, and it's a huge letdown for them to be gone. I got a last-minute invitation to ride the recent Colorado Climbing Camp By Haute Route Ambassadors. After hesitating a few minutes I decided I better take advantage of the opportunity and ride as many stages possible (around my work schedule).
